Enjoy an extra hint of crunch with your Meringue glacée.
This is also delicious in combination with the fruit coulis and the hot chocolate or caramel sauce.
50 g flour
40 g butter
50 g sugar (of choice)
Preheat the oven to 200°C (grill).
Soften the butter.
In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, and softened butter until you have a smooth mixture.
Place baking paper on a baking sheet.
Spread the mix on the baking paper.
Place in the preheated oven for 5 to 10 minutes.
Once it has cooled, pour the crumble in a jar or box. If you prefer small pieces of crumble, shake the jar or box.
